Christians Against Poverty (CAP) is an award-winning, national debt counselling charity with a network of 250 centres based in local churches.

CAP offers hope and a solution to anyone in debt through its unique, in-depth service. Thousands of families have already been released from the pressure of debt through a combination of advice, financial education, budgeting and insolvency services.

CAP's unique and non-judgemental approach means you are supported all the way as you take each step towards being free from debt.

The Maidstone CAP Centre was established in 2010. To date we have seen a number of people in the Maidstone area released from the burden of debt.

CAP Money is a revolutionary money management course that teaches people budgeting skills and a simple, cash-based money management system that really works.

CAP Money is a three-session course, featuring weekly DVD presentations by John Kirkby, the Founder and International Director of Christians Against Poverty and Matt Barlow, CEO of Christians Against Poverty UK.

The CAP Money course is designed to help people gain a better knowledge of what they earn and what they spend, devise a manageable budget, get their accounts in order and learn to save. CONNECT Church and other churches in the Maidstone area regularly run CAP Money courses.
