We are sold out for Jesus, his Kingdom and his purposes, pure and simple. Our aim as a church is to know Jesus better and tell everyone about him.

Our roots go back to the late 1980s, when we were one of a number of local churches planted out around Maidstone by Manna Christian Fellowship, then based at Brewer Street in the town centre. At first called East Maidstone Christian Fellowship, our church met in Weavering Village Hall from 1989 until 1994, when we transferred to Madginford Primary School.

In 2002 we renamed ourselves Bearsted Community Church, to reflect the area where most of us then lived, and where our work was focussed. A few years later we acquired charitable status in our own right, becoming a fully independent church. Growing attendances and the need for more space led us to move our main meeting place to Valley Park School in September 2014.

Over recent years the church's vision for its role has extended beyond Bearsted, and, in reflection of that, its name was changed to CONNECT Church Maidstone, in January 2016. In  April 2018 we moved our services to the Maidstone Skills and Community Centre in Senacre, where most of our ministry and outreach is focused.
